报告摘要:The increasing interest has been seem in the coupling between the physical field and the electrochemical performance of advanced materials for energy storage. Here we apply an external magnetic field to investigate its effect on the electrochemical energy storage performance. The talk includes two part: i.) The effect of an external magnetic field on the electrochemical capacitance of nanoporous nickel for energy storage. ii.) Eliminating tip dendrite growth by Lorentz force for stable lithium metal anodes. Our results demonstrate that the dealloying process of the Ni-Al alloy could be modulated and a finer morphology of nanoporous Ni (np-Ni) can be achieved by adjusting the external magnetic flux density. The np-Ni sample prepared under the magnetic field exhibits much higher specific capacitance. We also demonstrated that the Lorentz force under the effect of magnetic filed can effectively eliminate the tip Li dendrite growth. The relationship between current density and magnetic field intensity has been estimated by investigating the morphology of deposited Li and the electrochemical performance. The dendrite elimination mechanism was explained by mathematical modeling and COMSOL simulation. Our work thus offers an alternative method to enhance the electrochemical energy storage of advanced materials.

个人简介:邓齐波,男,1985年生,博士,副研究员,2007年本科毕业于北京理工大学工程力学;2009年硕士毕业于北京理工大学固体力学;2014年获得德国汉堡-哈尔堡工业大学博士学位;之后在德国汉堡-哈尔堡工业大学从事薄膜材料的力学-电化学交叉领域的基础研究。2015年回国至今在天津理工大学新能源材料与低碳技术研究院从事科研工作,主要从事电极材料的结构演化机制和性能改善策略的研究。研究方向主要包括材料力学因素诱导电化学性能失效及“多物理场作用下材料性能的原位调控。2016年天津市“131”创新型人才培养工程。2017年第十二批天津市“青年千人计划”项目。目前主持国家自然科学青年基金项目和天津市青年千人项目,并以科研骨干参与国家重点研发计划“高比能固锂电池技术”以及天津市新材料科技重大专项。以第一作者和通讯作者在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Func. Mater.等著名期刊上发表近30篇论文。
